The stage is set. After a fiercely contested season, the drivers’ champion will be crowned at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from December 5 to 7.

For the first time in 16 years, the title fight features three contenders, and the advantage remains with Lando Norris, who leads reigning champion Max Verstappen and teammate Oscar Piastri by 12 and 16 points respectively.

The equation is straightforward: Norris will secure his maiden championship as long as he wins at Yas Marina or finishes on the podium, regardless of Verstappen’s result. On the other hand, Verstappen will claim a fifth world title if he wins and Norris finishes fourth or lower. 

Meanwhile, Piastri can snatch the title only with a win on Sunday - but only if Norris finishes sixth or lower.
